The dice game

TOKYO

Roll, bluff, and outlast your friends in a fast real-time game of dice & lies.

How it works

Four steps to chaos

01

Create or join a room

One player creates a room and shares the 6-character code. Up to 5 players join before the game starts.

02

Roll the dice secretly

On your turn, roll two dice — only you see the result. Declare a value higher than the previous call, truthfully or not.

03

Believe or Doubt?

The next player believes and raises the stakes, or doubts and reveals the dice. Wrong doubters lose a life.

04

Last one standing wins

Lose all your lives and you're out. The last player with lives remaining takes the game.

Rules

The fine print

Objective
Every player starts with a number of lives. Last one standing wins.
Your turn
The active player rolls two dice secretly. Value = higher die × 10 + lower die (e.g. 5+3 = 53). You must declare a value higher than the previous one — but you can lie.
Believe or Doubt?
The next player can believe (re-roll and declare higher) or doubt and reveal the dice.
Consequences
Doubter is right → the bluffer loses 1 life. Doubter is wrong → the doubter loses 1 life.
TOKYO (21) — Maximum value
The highest possible call (1+2 = TOKYO). If you doubt and the dice were really 1+2, you lose 2 lives. Otherwise the player who called TOKYO loses 1 life.
Lives options
The host chooses how many lives each player starts with: Hardcore (1), Classic (3), or Survival (5).
